Before Today might be rather tame in comparison to his earlier work, although it’s amazing in a different way. “Mistaken Wedding” is the B-side to “Round and Round” and it demonstrates that the truly demented Ariel Pink of yore is still around. Hopefully we’ll continue to see bizarre B-sides released. This video is also hilarious: Ariel superimposed on a Jewish wedding video. It’s perfect.

Oh yeah, I forgot to post this when it first came out. Ariel and his Haunted Graffiti bandmates put together a mix for FACT magazine, and it’s my favourite mix I’ve heard all year. Listen and download it here.
